Now, although we can’t offer you the sort of fire place that keeps your toes warm, we insist checking out our latest youtube video. This extraordinary 3 hour loop is just of our roasting flame! Plus, its paired with some awesome background music that makes for the perfect relaxation recipe.

Quick Lockdown Update for you! ☕️🧡

Here we go again!
We have temporarily amended our hours so we will only be in the building on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This means that orders will only be shipped on these days and click and collect times have been limited to 9am to 3pm. Please check out the website for further details. ☕️

We know things are hard at the moment, but we want to reassure you that we are here to offer any support you need. Our instagram and Facebook DM’s are always open, and we are always happy to help with any queries or questions. 🧡

We will be continually updating our socials to offer brewing tips, as well as general coffee knowledge. ☕️

If we all work together we will get through this period of change and come out the other end better than before. Let’s kick off our first Tea for Tuesday with none other than the Blood Orange Loose Leaf! 🧡
This is my personal favourite from our fruity tea selection. It’s a blend of apple pieces, hibiscus blossoms, rosehip peel, safflower and natural blood orange flavour. When brewed it’s a dark red liquor with a strong citrusy aroma. The complex flavours make for a delicious cup, especially during the colder months.
Morning or evening, this tea is a guaranteed crowd pleaser☕️🧡

BRING ON 2021 ☕️🧡

The past year has left us all questioning if we will ever go back to some form of normal. Although we don’t have the answer to this, we have coffee, and we hope that brings some form of comfort.

Despite the fact that 2020 has been an absolute whirlwind of a year, we feel incredibly grateful for the continuous support we have received from each and every one of you. We are going to continue working hard this year to bring you the coffees and teas you love, with a few new surprises up our sleeve.

We are back in action today, and the web-shop is in full swing. So whether you’re after a cup of your favourite tea, or a pot of your go to coffee, we are here to ensure that you always have the Butterworth experience in your own home. 🧡

We know we aren’t out of the woods yet, but with everyone pulling together we can make sure this year is nothing but positive.

“Nearly” is the key word there. They may not be 200 millions years old, but we at Butterworth and son boast a range of “Gold coffees” which are equally as exciting. With 3 different single origins on offer, you will never be short of good coffee.
Our Tikal Gold is from Guatemala and has a serious hit of flavour that we cannot get enough of. With tasting notes of Milk Chocolate and raspberries, it’s the perfect coffee no matter the time of day.

The Suffolk special blend tea bags not only pack the same flavours into each bag as you would brewing a pot of loose leaf, but they are completely bio-degradable... All of that, combined with the new packaging, makes for an absolutely perfect purchase. So, whose filling their stockings with these? Because we sure are ☕️🧡🎄

Very special Tea bags
We first bought these tea bags in a Co-op supermarket in Suffolk and were immediately impressed with the Golden colour and full taste. Unfortunately for the past couple of years they are no longer stocked so we have to order via the internet. However the deliveries are quick and straight forward so no hardship. We live in a fairly hard water are in NW England and these tea bags claim to be chosen for hard water brewing... they certainly make a lovely cuppa! Recommend without hesitation.
