  • Altitude: 1200 – 1900 MASL
  • Process: Washed

Prosperidad de Chirinos was founded in 1968. Today, they have 817 members, a full quarter of whom are women. In total, the cooperative cultivates about 2,200 hectares in San Ignacio, Cajamarca.

The high altitudes of the mountainous San Ignacio region provide ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality coffees.

    I’d never heard of Butterworth, but my wife and I went for dinner at Pea Porridge in Bury St Edmunds and this is the coffee they serve. This coffee is Nuts, literally. Packs a really delish nutty flavour, so now we’ve got our new default bean. Highly recommend for fans of Nuts/Crema

      This is an awesome review Dvid! Thank you! I highly recommend checking out the Peru Tunki if you like those sort of tasting notes! The Inca Gold is definitely a winner though, and it pairs wonderfully with chocolate (cake or otherwise!) if you have a sweet tooth.

    This is our go-to coffee for everyday deliciousness. Cafetiere brings out its chocolatey notes really nicely, while an aeropress cup has a more hazelnutty flavour. Fantastic beans for a great price.

    This coffee really is the business. A brilliant start to any day. Visiting guests wowed by it too. Makes an awesome espresso. The ratings stars bit for the reviews didn’t work on my phone but it’s deffo a five stars from this Suffolk judge!
