Origin: Colombia Confused? Check out our Coffee Terminology
Region: Bruselas, Huila
Altitude: 1700 – 1850 MASL
Farmer: Willian Ortiz
Farm: La Cabaña
Varietal: Pink Bourbon
Process: Washed
Pink Bourbon is a coffee varietal first developed in Huila and predominantly only grows in this region, although most recently Farmers in Oaxaca, Mexico have had success growing this varietal too. Due to its rarity the price can often be a lot higher than typical Colombia varietals, however Butterworth & Son has managed to secure better pricing through it’s direct sourcing.
This varietal is overall very smooth with a sweet finish.

Magnificent flavours and depth as you’d expect from Columbia. Excellent in my French press and highly recommended as a brilliant all rounder.
