Ecoterra Nariño is a group of small coffee growers from 3 municipalities in the northern part of Nariño region.
Thanks to the organic practices, the farmers of this group have been able to improve their income and thus, their quality of life. Coffee is 100% organically grown and is produced using ancestral techniques & family labour, as it is tradition in this part of the country.
Once harvested at the point of perfect ripeness, the coffee is de-pulped and then fermented in tile lined concrete tanks for 24-36 hours, washed and sun-dried for 15-20 days, depending on the climate conditions.
Once dry parchment is ready, it is transported to the group’s warehouse for physical & sensory analysis to guarantee a quality cup.
