Matcha Green Tea Fudge

Oh yes, you read that right…
Green Tea AND fudge in one sentence may sound like a weird combo to some, but trust me this is that refreshing sweet treat that us guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Don’t belive me? I guess you’re just gonna have to make ’em!

This recipe only takes about 10 minutes to whip up but can last up to 7 days in the fridge.

Use the following ingredients:
-1 cup coconut butter
-1/3 cup creamed coconut milk (this is the super thick stuff!)
-2 tablespoons coconut oil
-2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
-1.5 tablespoons vanilla extract
-½ cup maple or agave syrup

Now that you have you’re shopping list, heres what to do:

1. On a low-medium heat, melt the coconut butter.
2. As soon as the butter melted, whisk in the coconut cream and the coconut oil.
3. Carefully add the syrup, vanilla extract and the matcha powder. Whisk this in slowly over that low heat. Keep whisking until everything is smooth and combined.
4. For your mixture into a parchment paper lined container of your choice. I recommend a 6×8″ size dish as that will maintain a perfect thickness.
5.Now, you should probably go off and do some laundry or something because you have to leave this to sit for a few hours until set. You can pop it in the fridge if your in a hurry.

A few notes before you take this on, the matcha you use will also, obviously, effect the colour of your fudge. Some people may end up with a bright green result while others more of a dark, grassy green. Both taste brill though, don’t you worry.
