In 2024, we’ve crafted a Winter Coffee that captures the essence of the season through a meticulously developed blend of Colombian, Peruvian, and Rwandan coffees.

The Inspiration Behind Our Winter Blend

Our Head of QC & Sensory, Will, carefully curated this year’s seasonal coffee by drawing inspiration from winter’s most evocative flavors. Moving beyond typical holiday scents, he focused on authentic culinary experiences: homemade baked goods, artisanal preserves, and the delicate sweetness of candied oranges.

Crafting the Perfect Winter Coffee Blend

The Base: Colombian Washed Coffee

We started with a balanced Colombian coffee that provides a fruity and spiced foundation. This carefully selected base sets the perfect tone for our winter blend.

Enhancing Sweetness: Peruvian Dry Fermentation

A unique Peruvian coffee, processed through a 72-hour oxygen-free dry fermentation, adds depth and stone-fruit notes. This meticulous method develops rich, sweet flavors without introducing overwhelming fermentation characteristics.

The Final Touch: Rwandan Complexity

A washed Rwandan coffee brings the blend together, introducing delightful notes of apricot, currants, and caramel. The final ratio of 3:1:1 creates a harmonious and complex flavour profile.
